Marian

Marian de Jongh Swemer is owner of Safari Diving together with Bart Prinsen. Marian is the manager here while Bart is at their other joint dive centre Dive College Lanzarote.

Marian learned to dive in the Netherlands and has visited many dive sites as a recreational diver. Since 2002 she is a PADI instructor and works full time as an instuctor at Lanzarote. She enjoys introducing new divers to the fascinating underwater world. She also enjoys teaching and seeing divers transform from total beginners to competent divers. She combines her passion for diving with a lot of enthusiasm with running the dive centre.

Adam

Adam was introduced to diving in September 2010 and enjoyed it so much that he quickly completed all his courses to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in May 2011.

He is very eager to pass on his knowledge and enthusiasm to others and teach them how to dive. He gets every chance to do this at Safari Diving.

Since joining Safari Diving he has also become an SSI Diving Instructor and BSAC Instructor. He has also completed a RYA boat skippers course. He is also technically trained for the visual and hydrostatic testing of tanks.

Debora

Debora comes from Italy (Milan), and moved to Lanzarote in 2003 to work as manager of the animation team in several hotels.
She passed her open water course in 2011, and from then on diving changed her life completely!
At the end of each course she passed she just wanted more and couldn't wait to start the next one, until she passed her OWSI in June 2013. Then in 2015 she became a SSI instructor and is now also a BSAC instructor.
In 2014 Debora joined our diving team. Something she was very happy with, just like us!
She says: I am waiting for you with a big smile on my face and can talk to you in five different languages!
Her favourite hobby next to travelling around the world is underwater photography.

Keaton

Keaton (Keats) is one of the English team members at Safari Diving Lanzarote. He has made many dives both locally and around the world. He was born in Hull (England) and moved to Lanzarote when he was 4 years old. While growing up on this island he learned to love the sea. Just back from his trip around the world he says: "Now I'm back where I once learned to dive, it's good to be home again! I like to learn other languages and already speak Spanish, German and English. I am addicted to music from the 70s and 80s, so don't hesitate to ask me about it. I look forward to diving with you here at Safari Diving Lanzarote".

Mauro

Mauro was born in Santiago, Chile and has spent most of his life working in television. He decided to move to Lanzarote with the idea of becoming a diver to combine his passion for the sea and videography.
He was taught by German instructors until he was CMAS 3 stars and then passed his PADI instructor training. Recently he has also become an SSI and BSAC instructor.
He has more than 4000 dives to his name, and loves surfing, movies and traveling around the world.
