Het was weer ouderwets goed.

De afgelopen twee weken hebben we weer mogen genieten van de gastvrijheid van Safari Diving. Afgelopen september hebben we onze duikvakantie moeten annuleren i.v.m. mijn beenbreuk. Ik loop nog steeds geen marathon maar met een beetje hulp van de Staff, in het bijzonder Joaquin, die steevast elke middag mijn duikset op kwam halen bij de school.Door zijn hulp hebben toch elke dag een mooie duik kunnen maken. December is toch anders dan in de zomer. De kerstklanken hoor je her en der en toch loop je in je korte broek en op slippers en het zweet loopt je van het hoofd. Bij kerst heb je toch een andere voorstelling. Maar goed desondanks hebben we twee mooie weken gehad. Overbodig te vermelden dat we terug komen. Steve, Wendy en de gehele staff onze dank voor de gastvrijheid en de hulp de afgelopen twee weken. We wensen iedereen een prettige kerst en gelukkig maar vooral een gezond 2012.

Lanzarote Safari Diving December 2011

Hi Safari,

Just to thanks you for the best night dive I have ever done! Last night to Renees, the Cathedral and 12 metre reef, it was stunning!!

We saw an eagle ray that lingered around us and nibbled my buddies fin, 3 balearic eels, a white spotted octopus,a HUGE squid pretecting its eggs and flashing as it changed colour, incredible, sea hares etc etc, just awesome!! and back to the warmth of Safari diving's great centre right on the beach!!

I've done a lot of dives but not many night dives probably less than 20, but boy, I am hooked!!!!

Thanks a million for being the best dive centre I've ever used!

Agog with Angels

Hiya All,

Having just recently returned from 2 weeks diving with Safari in Lanzarote, it was a shock to the system when warm conditions in tepid blue & clear waters, bright sands, great scenary, and loads of marine life was replaced by grey skies, heavy snow falls, cold, traffic queues, carpets of white, with no terrestrial life around, back in the UK.

It makes you appreciate the time spent over in Lanzarote, and already looking forward to the next trip out. The diving this time around was different as seems always the case, and many thanks to all the staff at Safari Diving for the pleasure and experiences that came about, and meeting up with several regular divers - which is great. Also, thanks to the regular buddy team of Robo, Deano & Granny, and Simon.

I've never dived in Lanzarote in December before, and given the great weather we had over the 2 weeks (even up to 25C), the water still a warm 20C, we encounterd angel sharks on every dive, one dive we had 6, and many dives were with eagle, bull or rounded stingrays. And, that's aside from the plethora of smaller critters. Even found several species that I hadn't seen before, and the night dives were superb, with mating sea hares.

And, with the Chill Inn bar for apres dive drinks, currently decorated for Xmas, this nicely rounded the days off.

A Big thanks to Wendy & Steve for everything during this year 2011, you've made my year. And, lastly, to all at Safari Diving -> Merry Xmas, Happy Near Year and best wishes for the future!
